Established in 13 December 1995, this store attracts visitors to the Kapiti Coast, as well as regular customers from the wider Wellington region and the Kapiti Coast. Their range of customers vary; from tourist to family. This store has one of the oldest live glass beehives, which has never died out since it began with a few sheets of comb and a new swarm, back in December 1995. The Kapiti store has a bar from which you can have free samples of wines, meads and honey-based cream liqueurs, as well as a honey bar where you can taste New Zealand’s widest selection of pure NZ honey and honey-based spreads.
